Mandy
Mandy is the Studio Principal and Owner of Mandy Cheng Design.
Mandy launched her solo design career first as a production and graphic designer in the film/television industry. She has designed music videos for chart-topping names such as J.Cole, One Republic, and Dillon Francis & DJ Snake, and worked as a graphic designer on projects ranging from 20th Century Women and Ladybird to Beyonce's Lemonade.
Mandy Cheng, named AD 100 for 3 years in a row (2022, 2023, and 2024), has transitioned her set design experience into a career as one of the most sought-after interior designers in Los Angeles. She designed the home of Emmy Raver-Lampman and Daveed Diggs, which landed the April 2021 cover of AD, and most recently, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita’s home, which was also featured in AD and their fan-favorite platform, Open Door.
Cheng has designed homes, retail stores, and offices that span the country. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband, Rory, and their dog, Scout.

Rory
Rory Reynolds (AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, CSI) is an award-winning Architect, recognized by USGBC for designing and building 2017’s Green Home of the Year, The Live Oak House, with Mandy as the interior designer. Rory is the consulting Architect for Mandy’s projects, and his extensive knowledge and expertise proves invaluable.

Jamie
Jamie is a Senior Designer for Mandy Cheng Design, and brings fierce organization, creativity, leadership and spunk to the studio. You will oftentimes see her working alongside Mandy in the field. She lives with her fiance, Johnny Schwartz, creator of the iconic fashion brand, YONY, and their adorable dog, Ralph, who looks a lot like a small forest creature.

Lauren
Lauren is an Associate Designer at Mandy Cheng Design. Lauren has a diverse background in design and marketing, and has transitioned that experience seamlessly into the interior design world. Lauren is equally obsessed with smoothies, juice shots, and her dog, Abe.

DORINA
Dorina is a Technical Designer at Mandy Cheng Design. Dorina was formally educated in Architecture at SCI-Arc, and brings a wealth of technical design experience from the retail and commercial architecture world. Dorina is excited to be working in the residential interior design world, and we are equally excited to have her.

Teri
Teri is our Project Coordinator comes with formal education in Interior Design and a Home Staging certification. She is also a secret whiz at ceramics, which you’ll see peppered into Mandy’s staging whenever possible.

Kaitlyn is a spatial designer and digital artist, and most recently joined the MCD Team as a Technical Designer. We are so excited to have her, and can’t wait to share her jaw-dropping renderings with our clients!
